Coming back with a new devlog to update you on my game! Version 1.2.3 is now available for Windows PC and the itch.io browser. This version includes:

• An improved UI for menus, as you can see in the latest screenshots.
• The leaderboard now displays 20 entries, instead of 10.
• Modified game over mechanics. Now the player will die if they lose all their health and lives, but additionally, if they come into contact with any aliens from the horde. 
• Fixed shield hitboxes according to their health (adapted box colliders to the size of the varying shield sprites).
• New user feedback when saving your game score on the online leaderboard. The save button is disabled and a message is shown on screen to indicate that the entry has been saved successfully.
